so this one is of this one awesome weekend of awesomeness. in the morning we went to retiro park which is gorgeous. the weather was absolutely perfect, too. and then we had the best salads for lunch, and then we got cake! I got carrot and alberto got chocolate, which we deemed a little conservative and we will try to apple cake next time.
then we walked around some more.
also, we went to chuerca which is the gay district but also a good place for clubbing as long as you don’t go to the skanky ones. i had some Bailey’s and Tia Maria which is a delicious concoction. also, the DJ played Sigur Rós, was wearing a silver and black Revolver t-shirt, had Ben Gibbard glasses, and then later put on some OK Go, which isn’t rare but was still really nice.

Awesome!! I especially liked all the trippy diner shots.
Also, what is happening there at the end? It sound like you are at some random person’s birthday party. Um, yeah.
But it must have been awesome when Sigur Ros came on. But what song is that??? I can’t place it. Is it on Agaetis Byrjun??
I would also like to mention that Reykjavík Iceland is listed as the 10th biggest party city in the world according to some website.

as for the ‘birthday party’, we were in one of the oldest restaurants in the city so clearly some old-school cheesy singing was in order. although that clip’s a bit older than the rest.

That was the idea. Also I am pretty sure Hoppipolla is my favorite song on takk but to be honest I’ve only listened to that cd like, five times max.
